Very good. As a Morlean I've been round a couple of times - including the cells. The court is occasionally used for Emmerdale. Morley Town Hall is very similar in design to Bolton Town Hall.

Excellent Phil, nice to see parts of the Town Hall that I've not seem before, My family have close ties to the building as my Grandad was the Deputy Lord Mayor in the late 60's, early 70's. His name was James Fawcett and may well have been Lord Mayor had he not passed away so suddenley in 1971.

He really is the councillor mate.As it happens i was invited to be guest speaker at the Newark camera club..Tis true :-)I'll not be going tho Dunno how they'd take to me in wellies down there!******************Hi Phill,You don't know me but I have heard a great deal about you from Gav Woodhead who works with me. To cut a long story short I am a member of Newark Photographic Society and we meet every Monday. We are looking for new speakers to demonstrate their work in the Sept 2009 to April 2010 season. I know you live in Leeds and you may consider that too far a distance to come to us. At this stage I am just sounding you out to see if your open to it but I believe the club pay a fee to speakers and this is open to negotiation. Normally we have speakers who show prints but we can also show projected images from the computer the choice would be yours.Having looked at your work on Flikr I think the club would love to have you along. Since Gav showed me what you get up to I really admire what you do and particularly think your Tinsley Towers shot with the snaky motorway and lights was fantastic. You have a good eye for composition and I am loving your tilt shift pics. What are you using for tilt shift a Nikon Lens or Lensbaby?Let me know if you consider your up for it, were not all experts but love a good talk about photography and how you achieve your effects.I have to let the chairperson know to pencil you in fairly soon so a quick yes or no would be appreciated.Keep up the good work and I hope to meet you one day and perhaps go on mission with you and Gav.********************Wonders will never cease
