Does anyone knoe the origins of this building the two lions either end of the building suggest it may have some history

Have just looked at LEODIS.NET in 1950 176 Chapeltown Road was Reginald Stores. The Lion was visible then. Does anyone know what they sold or how long they were there, or who else was on the block
