Does anyone know what is happening to the church over the road from Bramley Shopping Centre?, it appears to have lost its roof. Is it being renovated, demolished, converted? I always thought it was one of the more popular churches in the area

The Trinity Methodist Church on Bramley Town Streetis being completely re-roofed and refurbished and due to re-openin Spring 2009. It should have been re-opening thisChristmas but after two contractors 'went to the wall' (Broke!),the work is finally under way! In the interim period, Methodist Services are being held in St PetersChurch Hough Lane,by kind permission of the Vicar and Council.Hope that has answered your queries?PS if anyone is interested, a Joint St.Peters and TrinityChristmas Fair being held next Saturday the 29th November.Proceeds will be shared by the two Churches toward theirrespective building Funds! Doors open 10am until 4pm. All are Welcome
