Can anyone give me any information at all however small about a house in Bramley that may have been called Fearnville House, maybe 0n Dibb Lane? I have a picture of this house, it looks like a very grand small manor type house? I was born here and i really want to find out everything i can about it but have no family now living who can help me. I was born their in 1965. If anyone can help at all please i would be so grateful.Take care,Tracy.

I think Tracy is confused over the area. Fernville was on Dibb Lane , Yeadon, and in fact Fernville Park there according to Google has/had a BMX track recently .

Yes, Fearnville as Tracey originally spelt it, is off Dibb Lane LS8, quite close to where I lived for a while. Page 3 of the Asket Hall thread talks about this and the old house there, which was converted into appartments.

Pity about that then. it's restricted info then on the forum for members only. I'm going to get some pics myself soon anyway.

There's this bit of info about it.Eddisons Northern Property Auction attracts Leeds investorsThe residential sector was once again the stronger performer at the recent Northern Property Auction held in Leeds by leading property auctioneers Eddisons.Of the 39 residential lots offered 24 (62%) were successfully sold, which included those sold both prior to and after the auction, achieving total sales of £3.3 million. One lot which attracted significant interest was Fearnville House on Dibb Lane Rounday, Leeds which sold on the instructions of Leeds City Council for £228,000 off a guide price of £50,000 plus. The Grade II listed detached property is currently arranged as 5 apartments in grounds of approximately 0.96 acres but suffers from dry rot infestation and requires complete renovation.
