SecretLeeds - History, culture and architecture in Leeds

Hello All,Im new to the site and its quite fascinating stuff. I was wondering if anyone knew what the green ventilation type piece is on the pavement on Northern Street close to its juction with Wellington Street!?? its about 5ft high. any ideas!!!???Thanks!

There is one on Queen Street too, near the junction with Park Place.
