How many still exist? I thought it might be worthwhile to get them documented here.I'll pitch with somewhere not in Leeds - Birstall Market Place. I understand there's a fight on to retain the cobbles.

There is a short cobbled street in Yeadon, think its called Town Street, its at the bottom of High Street and is a short steep hill that goes down the side of the winter sports shop (name is eluding me right now)

Oo, there must be hundreds! Back Regent's Park Terrace in Leeds Six still cobbled its full length. Also, there are loads where the cobbles are still there but tarmaced over, where you can see the cobbles poking through the frost damage...

The cobbled street in Yeadon is known locally as" the steep"and it is!!There is also one in Guiseley,Station Rd. which funnily enough leads to the railway station, and in the not too distant past it still had the old gas lamps.

Mitford Terrace and Back Mitford Terrace in Armley are still cobbled. Both streets have had tarmac laid over the cobbles but this hasn't stood the rest of time, the tarmac being full of pot-holes but the cobbles looking perfect!

The road our works is on, Brancepeth Place, off Armley road is cobbled but tarmacced over, but as in most cases is badly potholed and loads of the cobbles can be seen.In fact there was an old cobbled street in our yard that Used to be Binks street, we took them up, they are now a rather nice house driveway in Thackley!!! Recycling at its best!!!
