I cant help but feeling I may be hughely disappointed when I get them. I understand it's not that great, but only having ever seen that 1 episode that's knocking about on Youtube I'm still looking forward to it!

There doesn't seem to be any info as yet as to who has released it - just out of interest of course. As anyone with any interest has probably noticed, there are three series, but no boxed set as yet.

Just got the DVDs through this morning, and seeing as I have the day off I've just wateched the first two episodes. The first one is the same as the one on Youtube, second one wasn't spectacular. Hope it gets better, but there are nearly 40 years old.the opening credits are good though, some clear shots of Old Milgarth station, Eastgate, Bus Station and Markets. I'lk try getting a clear screenprint off laptop later on.

Well i think that is why it was dropped,it wasnt very good. What do you think of the market then?Thats when it was a proper market, huge and busy.

Ye, its wierd really, I remember the road that went thru the outside market but I dont rememebr the old bit, (pre fire of course as I was minus 7 at the time)YOu can see the Marques of Granby there on the credits also i noticeSTILL cant figure out what building the Builders Arms pub is though. Probably well gone now.Strange for me to see no new Millgarth and the old on still there and all the cars parked on the site, and on the other side of George Street, roughly where the new outdoor market starts. Times have a chaged. I also cant beleive its 39 years old!
