The main story on the front page is about what the YEP refers to as a "police informer scandal" and that two "MPs speak out after YEP investigation". The report ends on the front page with "Leeds North East MP Fabian" and then states "Turn to page 4". Page 4 is however a full page of adverts so I thought the report would continue on another page but I cannot find a continuation. If it's there but I am just not seeing it I would be grateful if someone could tell me where it is in today's YEP. The story is here Leohttp://www.yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk/news/lat ... -1-5395529

Passing the YEP building on Wellington Street today I saw a number of notices directing visitors for the "viewing" to specific car parking areas. I assume that this event is prior to a sale of the property.I hope that whoever buys it wants to knock it down to redevelope the site. I have always felt that this monstrosity has been the worst eyesore in Leeds ever since it was built.

The YEP, bless it, is making it too easy! The issue of Saturday February 23 2013 is correctly dated on all pages until the back page where it is dated "Friday February 23 2013". I just happpened to spot that date which confused me into momentarilly thinking I was looking at Friday's issue which I thought I had already put away for waste paper disposing.

There is a good example in today's YEP (March 7 2013) of something not being spotted before the issue was printed. On page 4 there is an article about the plans to revive part of Leeds Kirkgate Market and the article is accompanied by a photo of part of the inside of the market. The caption to that photo is "CAPTION KICKER: Caption detail wdywdy wdy wdywdy wdy wdywdy wdy wdywdy wdy wdywdy wdy." Clearly someone should have put in the proper caption but it did not happen. for the YEP!

Hoping not to bore you with yet another similar error in the YEP but there is one in the 'Business' section on page 28 of today's YEP. One of the brief items on that page is headed "NIBS HDYHDY HDY HDYHDYHDY". The news item (about Balfour Beatty) was though correctly typed.I am not going out of my way to spot such errors as they are obvious when I am working through a YEP.

Leo,poking fun at the Yorkshire Sunrise post is fairgame on here even if it is akin to shooting fish in a barrel as per the last couple of days. You are not boring me its entertaining seeing how little care is now taken in its production. If you keep on pointing out the short comings maybe, just maybe, someone in a position of authority there might enforce taking pride in their work. I'm not holding my breathe though.
