Hey there,Just registared and having a read through about Temple Mill as it is my favourite building in Leeds. I used to purposefully walk out of my way after work to look and admire and to tell the truth have a little giggle about the sheep on the roof (not in a nasty way it just tickled me that they keep sheep up there). This building can not be allowed to fall in to complete and utter disrepair. This happens all too often with buildings in Leeds and it is an utter disgrace. I don't know what the solution is but I am happy to help try raise awareness of this beautiful buildings plight and all the others in Leeds. However just thought I would mention something about the BBC Restoration Program. I used to work at a place called Kinloch Castle on the Isle of Rum on the west coast of Scotland. Kinloch Castle was featured on the program but unfortunately lost out to Manchester Baths, fair doos it was a public vote. However the money which was given to Manchester City Council to retore the building wasn't used entirely on the Baths. Instead MCC restored the ground floor at a fraction of the 1million pounds donated and sold off the upper levels to be turned into fancy apartments thus making money to further line their greedy fat pockets (can you tell it still makes me angry that they were allowed to do this, they conned the public).Anyways that is my opinion let me know if I can be of any use or if there are some ideas brewing.Lois

You're right it is a fantastic building and I hope it can be saved somehow - Restoration is not a goer though!
there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

I don't think they did this on purpose i think the place had been rented out for some sort of military training or paint ball type games they were small round balls every where. thunder flash and the parabolic grenades i mean a lot of these every where must have sounded like world war 3 going off in there
