So when I thought it would make a good pub I must have subconciously picked up on it's being a former one!A lot of church's haad pubs named after bells next ot them. The famously haunted Ring O'Bells in Halifax for example is one.

Looked at the planning app and noticed its Leeds Brewery who are doing it. Considering they own the excellent Crowd of Favours,which is very nearby, could they be possibly encroaching on their own business and as a result could they start getting a bit like teh recently gone bust Anthonys restaurant chain.If anything they would have been better off opening something at the top of town, say taking over the old Guilford, and thus giving them (and Leeds) a better spread of their pubs.
