I thought I had a good memory but you put me to shame! Amazing!

Wilkinson Warburton's Victoria Road/Cemetery Road site has recently been razed to the ground.PS The Prospect pub up Owlcotes Hill from here seems to have disappeared too. Anyone know when it went, or am I going blind?

The guy who owns the off -license opposite bought it from the brewery who owned it and had it demolished .He then had the flats you can now see built on the site. When can we expect the next instalment of your journey?

How times change! Went past here last Tuesday and saw the bulldozers. More housing, presumably. Also sad to see that the buildings that used to house "Hudsons of Pudsey" hauliers have also gone.

There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
