There used to be a cinema at Garforth as well at the top of the Main Street, near where Pease of Garforth is

Hi RangieNo wonder they call it HOSS forth!(is that the Vicar on the horse?),'Tin' T in, Tabernacle',as the vic's wife sed!Arry

Thanks 4 that Rangie!We used to use Horsforth laundry when we livedin the Rosebanks. That's after Mum 'fell out' with Bramley Steam Laundry! (Horsforth were 1 penny cheaper)! Anyone remember Kit Wong's Chinese Laundryon Burley Road? They were very good but a bit dearerthan the BSL and HL if you needed a clean shirt in a hurry!The Family lived in Rosebank View,I seem to remember.Arryps we do us' own now!

Just to add to the mix Arry there were also Horsfroth Super Laundry owned buy the same family!!!!Aye and we does us own too!!!!!!!!
