Which one mate? The sign or the last pic?

Forgetful Cat wrote: In the surrealist pamphlet, Gareth Brown says that the original location was occupied by a company called Ion Dyson, which relocated to a purpose built office block on Buslingthorpe lane in the 1970's, taking the skulls with them.Thishttp://www.leedsonline.co.uk/info/938/suggests the building still bears the company name, though they are no longer there.Gareth states that he tried to contact Ion Dyson without success. A quick google and companies house check shows that they are now registered at a pub in York, and still trading. This is the quote I was referring to......

The sign is highlighted on the gable wall in white. From the overhead shot it looks like the building is all one apart from the little corner 'add on' that was the chippy. The last pic was taken at the end of the yard were the buildings finish. There is another gate there. To me the stables look to have been the lower triangle section perhaps?

The front of Dysons after the chippy. This has got to be the pub don't we think? It's a pity we can't find any archive shots. There must be some.

Well what we know is Dysons owned the property (stables) were the skulls were so we got to say they occupied the pub as well. The second picture shows Dysons to look more like a pub than the little chippy would you say? The pubs would have been quite big in the coaching days, stables e.t.c
