I just tried to upload a photo I took of one of my favourite derelict buildings, but a message came up saying the file needs to be smaller than 2048 KBytes. Don't know what to do about that! It's a house (Georgian?) just by the Parish Church, on the corner of Church Row and High Court, which has been derelict for a long time. Recently I noticed a sold sign on and seen builders going in and out, so hopefully it's going to be restored and not demolished. I might have a look on Leodis to see if there are any old photos of it in its better days. Hi sujay. This is a link to a SL thread that may relate to the building you refer to:- http://www.secretleeds.com/forum/Messag ... eadID=3330 Thanks for that, Leodian. Yes, that's the one I mean. Such a lot of history in that area. It was when I was around there that I came across the Leeds Civic Trust shop on Wharf Street, by sheer chance. I didn't know about this organization, so it was a nice surprise to find it, and I've been in a couple of times and bought some of those facsimile old ordnance survey maps, which are fascinating to peruse, and nice clear layout, no magnifying glass needed!Going past the old Chest Clinic today, the door to the basement was open and there were a couple of workmen in the doorway, but all I could see at a glance was that the walls inside are of those old cream Victorian tiles. I remember going there for chest x-rays, as I'd had TB as a child, but I'm afraid I don't know what was in the basement.
