When the site was down there was an interesting itemin the Leodis top 50 one day.It was in the comments section about a murder/arrest whichwas interesting but I've forgot what is was all about and of coursedid not bookmark the page.I don't think the Leodis search facility covers the comments bit.Did anyone else see it on Leodis earlier in the week ?

When I saw the title of this message was 'threads' I thought it was a discussion about the 1980s nuclear war drama set in Sheffield! I can remember they 'treated' us to a screening of it in about 1987 at Bruntcliffe High School in Morley one Friday afternoon during our double English period. What a harrowing / chilling film that is... I have had recurring nightmares of nuclear annihilation ever since, and I recently watched it again on Youtube out of morbid curiosity. Still as sickening as ever, although I remember back then the cold war was still in full swing and it seemed an ever present possibility, especially since I discovered the 'Leeds and the Bomb' pamphlet produced by the Labour council in the 1980s. I wouldnt recommend watching it if you value your sleep.
