Simply fascinating stuff here.I would really like to go to the top of the tower myself. Is it done by special appointment of can you just turn up?

Sorry Leeds Rhino (and I like the name, I'm a supporter myself!) but the tower is off-limits. I had an inside contact so was able to arrange this official visit for me and Phill. You'll have to make do with Phill's excellent photos!

Fantastic pictures there guys - job well done I think.Having lived in Leeds for over 20 years now, and quite a bit of that time in Armley and the surrounding area, I have always admired this building for its striking and "Different" appearence although I have to say that, strangly, you don't really appreciate what a magnicifent structure it is until you view it from a distance and realise just how big it really is.As has been commented you can see this church from a long way away and then you realise how big it really is.

There's nothing like keeping the past alive - it makes us relieved to reflect that any bad times have gone, and happy to relive all the joyful and fascinating experiences of our own and other folks' earlier days.
