Didn't know whether this or the worst bus thread was best for this.Last 110 of night to operate from the arena http://www.arrivabus.co.uk/First-Direct ... Arena.aspx Not sure where from, it won't raplace the 23:15 from the bus station and it won't operate unless there is a weekday 11pm finish. Will worst follow suit on any route other than the otley road corridor?

Not an auspicious start from the LCC POV http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-23447639

To be fair, despite the vicious slagging that Keith Wakefield gave the parking officer on Radio Leeds this morning, the very same radio station was this evening reporting that the trucks were actually parked illegally and the tickets were issued correctly. Once again Keith Wakefield shows he's not fit to run a bath, let alone one of the biggest cities in the country. Two points are raised as a result - Firstly that there is only a very limited amount of vehicular access to the backstage area of the Arena, with vehicles apparently meant to wait in a 'holding area' on Roseville Road until summoned. This would seem to be a potential problem...Secondly I wonder how the Parking Attendant felt this morning, hearing his boss giving him a right old slating on the radio? Not a very professional way for Councillor Wakefield to behave, especially as it is now evident he wasn't aware of the facts before launching into a soundbite. Even if the ticketing had been wrong, there is no excuse to be speaking about staff in such a manner.I hope as forthright and public an apology will be made.

I went past as the lorries were all parked in the car parking zones. There wasn't enough room for them to deliver the stage and there is a sequence that has to be followed. LCC apparently didn't think that performers would require more than a battered Transit van for their equipment. What is going to happen when the OB vehicles have to park outside the Arena. All cabled up to the equipment inside. LCC, couldn't run a bath.

Not the most straight forward journey. No - possibly the easiest route would be to head towards the Sheepscar Interchange and then cut up Clay Pit Lane and down Merrion Way. A quick glimpse at a map suggests any other route is going to involve a trip right round the city centre on the infamous Loop....
