When I worked in Dewsbury there was a hardware shop called Tupper'sThe story was he had two sisters and a brotherone call Isabel (Isi)one called Robert (Bobby)and the eldest was Poppy

I grew up in menston & there used to be a shop called Seamans DIY, plus i'm sure Knobs & Knockers had a shop in Burley (in Wharfedale)....

I knew Knobs & Knockers was in Harrogate but haven't heard of one more local.

Not in Leeds, or even Yorkshire, or 'suggestive' but one I've always loved is The Jolly Bodger, DIY and Hardware shop in Hayle, Cornwall.
Sit thissen dahn an' tell us abaht it.

Neither is this one but it made me laugh! At the top of Yeadon high street an ink cartridge refil shop "Alan Cartridge" ah ha!
