Don't know about the Morning Star, but the Rising Sun is just under the bridge on the right (always reminded me of The Animals song?).I used to use the wash tubs there every Saturday as we had only an outside loo and a tin bath in Albert Terrace (long gone now).
Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

We had the same exotic convieniances in Cardigan Mount, again long gone.

I think during the 60's period this area had major redevelopment. I know that as a baby in 1966 we were re-housed and our house was demolished in Lennox Place which was just beyond the bridge on the left where the cinema is now.
