Lamberts Yard and the oldest timber framed house in Leeds

It has been closed off for quite some time now, it looks to be full of wheely bin skips in there.I have seen the people from the (stinking) Vintage Clothes shop going in there so access is available to business users.The sign above still says its Lamberts Yard
Is this the end of the story ...or the beginning of a legend?

Hello I'm sticks wife my grandfather stabled his horses in Lambert's yard William Lambert owned the three tier house he was a grocer and tea merchant ,his son use to give my mother and aunt biscuits when they were little girls. My mother who is now 90 tells me up to the Lambert family living there it was known as blades yard today sticks and myself went to look through the gate we could see the old windows had been boarded up and we were told it has been sold to a local developer .

Today sticks and his wife gained access to Lambert's Yard we had a good long look round we were told it has been sold to a property developer that has a cash flow problem (skint) i think is the word ,before we went to Lambert,s Yard we went to see Blaydes Yard just down on the opposite side of Briggate i have take some photos of both and i am sending them to one of the members to put on the forum for me .
