I know some of you have asked about the old college. I was at the college in 1968/69 on a 1 year pre apprentice course After a lot of searching and the help of the kind staff at LEEDS LOCAL STUDIES LIBRARY, i have the location and photos. The college was at one time Ellerby Lane School on Cross Green Lane. Here is a photo from that exellent site LEODIS. The Fish Hut Pub was across the road.

This is another old branch of the Building College. Darley Street School, demolished many years ago. Thanks to Leeds Local Studies who confirmed this was part of the college, they sent me a map showing the old school as the Building College. Thanks to Leodis for the photo.
