dont know if this will link but its about laying heating pipes in the Headrow

We would like to thank people for their patience while works on the Headrow have been ongoing 👏

We are currently working in partnership with District Heating, digging out the central reservation and installing underground pipes which will transfer energy from waste that is processed at the Veolia (RERF) facility.👷🏾‍♀️ 👷🏽 This will eventually provide low carbon heat and hot water for some businesses & homes in Leeds. 👍 🚰

Here’s a snap shot of what has been achieved so far…

Thanks hicklingmick for that information :).
I wonder who the "This will eventually provide low carbon heat and hot water for some businesses & homes in Leeds" will be?

This is a photo I took on January 9 2020 showing some work taking place on The Headrow near to its junction with Vicar Lane. If the intriguing metal work grid has been installed before somewhere in the ongoing work I've not seen it. I took the photo holding my camera against one metal safety mesh but a second one still remained in view!
