Real shame, I know that there could be far better things to do with the land, but I'd just be disappointed if they built completely structures on the site because, while it was small, there was some of the finest architecture I've ever seen in there, which is saying something considering it's been derelict all my life (may be giving my age away oops!) and I've never seen it live up to its potential.

I also went and spoke to the foreman on site. The equipment, as I observed, was supplied by a demolition crew, so the bulk of the work is definately getting rid of the majority of the building. When I asked the foreman, he confirmed that there were going to be houses replacing it. I asked how many there would be and he replied 3, but before had begun to say "It's not actually..." while pointing over to the front, before stopping himself, which to me all but confirmed that they're going to be keeping the facade. However, I did get the impression that he wanted to tell me more about it than he was allowed to, so if anyone could find out more, that would be much appreciated.
