Photos inside Lloyds Bank on Park Row in November 1900.

Post by Leodian »

Having had a quick look in the English Heritage website of some images taken in Leeds I thought these two may be of interest if only to show how things have changed. The following links show inside views (dated November 1900) of the banking hall at Lloyds Bank at what is called The Greek Chambers at 31-32 Park Row. Now that is how a bank should look! ;) . I wonder what happened to the ornate clock?

31-32 Park Row is today where the Le Chalet French tea room and the Wagamama Japanese restaurant are located. I've never been inside either but I assume their insides don't look like the photos show! :).
