Nice but eroding carvings round a door in The Bourse.
This is a door with nice but badly eroding carvings in The Bourse (off Boar Lane). The door has no knob so it may be an emergency exit door that I think is the rear of Evan's Cycles whose store is on New Station Street. The carvings are nice and can be seen all around the building whose main frontage is the William Hill premises on Boar Lane. I like the owls (Leeds owls?). I took the first photo on January 26 2015 but took the second one showing a close-up of an owl on January 29 when I went back to check something.

Thanks for these photographs, Leodian, there are so many details around in Leeds and I tend to miss a lot but your posts let me know where to look and remind me to keep my eyes open.
