folk-law in bramley has it that the whitecoats of the civil war stayed at a camp near the river aire somewhere, ive heard there used to be a place called warley camp near ross mills but is all this just rumours? apparently whitecote hill is named after the soldiers passing through but notice the difference in spelling hence my nickname.
if it feels good ......... dig it!
