Local Councillor wants to involve the excellent Groundwork Leeds in a redesign of the gardens around the Oakwood ClockWith a likely start date for the building of the new Tesco store on the Homebase site in 2012, money will be provided by Tesco to fund the restoration of the Clock and the gardens around them.

It's common now that large developers have to contribute to an 'amenity' fund to improve the local environment. There's usually a press release and someowne taking credit.
