ART DECO in Leeds

Included in todays top 50 on Leodisis the Oakwood Fish Barhttp://www.leodis.net/searchResults.aspx?LOCID ... =&PUBID=0I was pleased to see it is a grade 2 listed building.Leeds stn North Concourse is in the art deco style,does anybody know of any other examples in exisitance ?

Aren't all the houses down Alma Road and Grove Road and a few on Grove Lane (Headingley/Meanwood) all in the Art Deco style?

The interior of the Queens Hotel is an Art Deco masterpiece. The north concourse of the City Station used to be even more Art Deco than it is today. The New Theatre was part of this complex and was another brilliant example.

Parkinson building and the civic hall are also "Art Deco", but I think what you're actually referring to is "streamline moderne" which is the deco that looks like ocean liners, rather than new york chrysler building style.I love art deco, and I wish there was more of it in leeds.

What about that shop front cladding on the corner of albion street and boar lane? It's been ther since the 1920s at least, mot sure if it could be classed as art deco thouigh?
