Hi, Im looking for some images of terraced housing in Harehills getting built. Can anyone point me in the right direction?Cheers

just out of interest....................for now.I was wondering if the evening post or the library may help, but dont know how to go about this?

Best of luck finding such a pic , and if you do I hope you will post it here. All the red brick terraces in Harehills for example were built around 1900. I think photos of ordinary houses actually taken during construction might be rare. Why would anyone, at the time, want a photo of a half-built back-to-back rather than the finished houses?Far easier to find pictures of the houses being demolished in the post war period.
It used to be said that the statue of the Black Prince had been placed in City Square , near the station, pointing South to tell all the southerners who've just got off the train to b****r off back down south!

Thanks BP I have just emailed them so I will let you know. Just out of intrest, the building on that website, did it use to be a library years ago?
