These are 3 photos that I took at the Victoria Gate construction site on December 2 2014. The demolition of the Millgarth Police Station is now well on and judged by the live webcams view today (December 3 2014) it could even be all down by the end of the week

- A very zoomed-in view taken at 11:37 on December 2 2014 from Harewood Street holding my camera right up against a metal mesh in a gate and trying not to get any mesh in view. Not the best composed image but I had little choice!

These are 2 photos that I took on December 5 2014 (it was cold but there was a nice nearly cloudless clear blue sky ).

Re: Victoriagate/Eastgate Quarter Development
These are 2 photos that I took on December 11 2014.
The first was from George Street (compare it to scene in the photos I took on December 5). I had to be very quick to take this photo as a lorry was about to come out and a security gate had been opened so I asked if I could take a photo and was told only if I was very quick, so thanks to that site person. .
The second is from St Peter's Street. I wonder what happened to the banner that is seen in the photos that I took on November 19 2014?

Re: Victoriagate/Eastgate Quarter Development
There's not a lot left standing now of Millgarth Police Station. Hoping not to become boring by posting more photos but I thought I would add these 3 that I took on December 16 2014.

- View from George Street/Dyer Street. Thanks to the workmen for letting me take a very quick photo as they were closing a gate (no demolition was going on there). As I was there a man was talking to the workmen and they gave him a couple or so bricks from the waste spoil. I was asked if I wanted a brick but I'm not a brick collector so I said no but thanked them.

These are 3 photos of the site that I took on December 19 2014. The first one shows what may have been the last bit standing of Millgarth Police Station (MPS).
When I recently mentioned the old culverted beck under MPS to workmen I was informed that the beck is to be diverted and also that archaeologists are to inspect the site because there had been a mill there at one time. I did not know about a mill, but it may account for the Millgarth name.
