OK, this one is submitted from Martyn. Not such a small architectural detail this time. But I want you to tell us where it is, & why it is there? So, a bit of a 'What & Why?' this time, rather than a 'What & Where?'.If you would like to submit a photo to the competition, please send it to us at munki72@gmail.com.Happy Hunting!

Nope, not the Royal Armouries or Stourton and it's a permanent fixture.

Really.. I've never seen it. Is it near the Dry dock pub? I think that Munki's having another AWOL with the bank holiday again...

Is it a Chieftain? Difficult to tell from this angle. There's a nice Chieftain at Elvington Air Museum, in fact it's a unique one of a kind, being the never made export Khalid prototype I think. Don't know where this is though.I'll be very annoyed if there's been a Chieftain sitting in Leeds for years and I've not known about it!Is it a TA base? Logic would tell me that it is at Barnbow, though I can't see where.

Well, I am happy for Martyn to answer the suggestions for me! I'm not away for the weekend... I don't think of this as 'work' but my girlfriend clearly does, so I sometimes try to spend a few hours away from the computer (obviously failing on that count at the moment!).I certainly don't know what sort of tank it is...
