Hi Stutterdog. I see you have lived in Farsley for some time.I lived on Frederick Street in the 80's. I think Farsley is a lovely place and remember my time there with fond memories.I street viewed Farsley some time back and a lot of the little shops have gone. Such a shame. I was very friendly with Edith and John Wallace who had the post office in Town Street but over the years we've lost touch. Happy days!

I lived in Morley for the first 21 years of my life. Then I moved all of 3 miles to West Ardsley, where I stayed for 10 years, I then moved back into Morley and lived at the same address for 26 years. I've lived where I am now for neary 8 years. So basically you could say I've lived in the old Borough of Morley all my life.I was born here - fewer and fewer can say that these days. Morley Hall the maternity home on Dawson Hill closed in 1972. I've no idea where expectant mothers go today - my kids were both born in Staincliffe.
