And another of the bills calls Ken Platt "Leeds's own" too and he was born in Leigh.

Quite a lot of the famous comedians appeared in pantomimes. I can remember the likes of Norman Evans (over the garden wall), Albert Modley (and his Leeds tram drumkit) Sandy Powell (can you hear me mother?) etc. Happy days!
