And another of the bills calls Ken Platt "Leeds's own" too and he was born in Leigh.

Quite a lot of the famous comedians appeared in pantomimes. I can remember the likes of Norman Evans (over the garden wall), Albert Modley (and his Leeds tram drumkit) Sandy Powell (can you hear me mother?) etc. Happy days!

The manager's name Leo A Lion on the playbill is amusing. Presumably made up, but you never know!
