I am an expat living in the USA these days and don't get back to the Leeds as much as I would like. Last year during my visit the Rising Sun had, had a major fire and was pretty much gutted. I wonder if there was any news to the cause and if it was demolished afterwards? Thanks

It's still standing, possibly could be saved but I suspect it woul be cheaper to knock it down and start again. Before the fire it was a 2nd hand furniture shop And most of the interior was in poor condition although the original bar was still in place.
