My parents were managers there in 1965-67 during the riots and uproar with fighting immigrant families.
My father lost his job because of this, shortly after this he emigrated to Australia and 16 months later he died the result of a drunken driver.
But my mum and dad started the music nights and gave many a comedienne their first taste of stardom.
