Hey Drapsey.. I hope you have a pint in every pub you snap Hic#    :-# Remember the old Tetley pub hunt when you had to get your card stamped in all the different pubs for a £3.99 t shirt? We all did it in the early 80's :-)

We all did it in the early 80's :-) I certainly try to Phill, it wouldn't be fair otherwise would it?I well remember the Tetley pub Hunt - what a fine contribution to the campaign against drink-driving that was!!!If I remember rightly there were two - one got you a horrible beige t-shirt. the other a slightly more tasteful dark blue number.I remember on Calendar/Look North they had a guy on who managed to track down 20 (I think you had to get 20, or was it 25?)different Tetley pubs that all shared the same name - any guesses what it was?

Old as it is the Pack Horse is a new pub to replace an even older one - here's a pic from Leodis of the original Pack Horse about 120/130 years ago

Mosaic floor from the Pack Horse - not as good as one at the Rising Sun (see signs of old Leodis thread) but a fine piece of work nonetheless

And here's the actual Pack Horse from above the door. He (or she?)'s been painted blue and managed to lose 3 legs! [and there's another pub name].The little sign post in front of the horse says 'to Leeds' and it's even pointing in the right direction.bless.
