there are 10 types of people in the world. Those that understand ternary, those that don't and those that think this a joke about the binary system.

You can take the lad out of Leeds - but you can't take the Leeds out of the lad.

Another pub which if not in original condition is a great recreation and looks good for it is the New Inn on Church Street in Gildersome. It's all in Art Deco style and has been very imaginatively decorated. It's got all it's internal walls, a tap room, a snug, open fires, original steel window frames even the fixtures in the gents are in period. As an added bonus, it's a Sam Smith's pub so there's no telly, no jukebox and the beer is under two quid.

The Garden Gate in Hunslet.Surrounded by 1970's council houses but saved from demolition following an outcry.Magnificent inside and out and a good pint of Tetley's too.Well worth a visit - the bar in the tap-room has to be seen to be believed!

Mosaic floor in the entrance - much of the interior flooring is tiled in similar style.

The Dragon in Wortley a fine old building and fine pub. Probably not unique but there can't be many pubs that have a bridge named after them!
