Anyone have any early to mid 70's memories of The Precinct situated in the old Golden Cock pub in Kirkgate. I absolutely lived in there every opportunity I could get. Loved the music (lots of northern soul) and the boxing ring dance floor. Can't remember the name of the regular DJ with the beard but he had a brilliant music collection. I would love to see any photographs taken in there just to give my nostalgia nerve a jingle! Happy days for me though strutting about in the Precinct with my flower in the my hair and my dancing shoes on thinking I was the bees knees!

macattack wrote: Pictures won' t upload     Unfortunately you need to use IE to upload pictures. Once uploaded they don't usually appear correctly so in IE you will see a red cross (an object placeholder) which if you click on reveals the image. You can view the images in other browsers too but in the case of Firefox it involves on clicking on a hyperlink that says submit query (which doesn't actually look like a hyperlink unless you hover the mouse pointer over it)

Does anyone remember the name of the dj in the precinct? The one with a beard. I think he married a long lost relative of mine.
