6 years !!How time flies.There was a sign saying it would be care home.Site badly overgrown AND up for sale again

There has been a couple of planning apps to build a care home.
Work has recently started to clear to site which was VERY overgrown
There is an excavator inside the compound.
8 years or so since closure/demolition.

work has started (at last) on the site of the old shaftesbury pub on york road.

If my old Mam ans Dad were still alive I'm sure she would say it was his second care home as he did like to spend a bit of time in there.

After all this time the deed is done.

Open days this Sat/Sun at Killingbeck Court a new BUPA care home on the
site of the former Shaftesbury boozer.

It is Wykebeck Court - not Killingbeck
