This is becoming a bit of a theme.Old Pubs.Some good, some not.Some old, some newer.Some Leeds Institutions, some dives.All reduced to builders' rubble.

View down York Road with the Dog and Gun (Pitbull and Shooter) in the distance.It looks like the Shaftesbury's signpost , like many others , will long outlive the pub.

Didn't realise it had gone completely now2 weeks ago, there were some roof slates missing, I noticed!

I think it should have been converted into flats or something, I always thought the Shaftsebury was a really impressive looking building.
