To commemorate the fifth day of November, Leeds City Council arrange to burn 2167 used wood pallets.
Good for the environment, good for all the wild animals that inhabit this area.

Those pallets certainly burn well. We went to East End Park and the bonfire was still going, a couple of hours after being lit.

I cannot see a Guy on the top of that Bonfire, I am sure there are a number of people who should have been given the honour of been the Guy for this years Bonfire !!
