does anyone have any idea of the history of the redhalls, beeston, leeds

Many years ago i used to "Haunt" the Holbeck Bowling club on St. Anthonys Rd. Leeds 11 next door to the Redhalls. i seem to remember that there were Piggeries on that land before they were built. Never did find out why the club is "Holbeck B.C." when Holbeck is possibly over half a mile away.
