This is a photo that I took on January 29 2014 that shows a different view point at the site.

Edit added shortly after posting. I am having trouble adding the photo despite trying again, so I will try later. I also got a message that Internet Explorer had blocked a pop-up from something that had GoDaddy in its name, which I did not allow it to be accessed.

Even later edit. I later successfully added the photo to my post on 'Wed Feb 05, 2014 3:01 pm'.

I'm trying again to post the photo (see my previous post on page 1). It worked this time! I've not had a problem adding a photo for a long time so I was surprised that it failed on the two previous attempts! No doubt SL site gremlins but ? the strange attempted pop-up had anything to do with it?

The river will certainly be flowing well after all the recent rain. I wouldn't fancy falling in there!

I popped down to Granary Wharf/Dark Arches a couple of days ago in my lunch break. Not much happening at the moment. Where did all the shops go that were in the Dark Arches? Is it really that long since I went down there. River was in good form as it fair powered and scoured its way through the arches. The lighting makes a great difference. Some good pics being posted, thanks everyone. Probably worth a weekly toby around once things get going. I've never posted pics to this site but I'm hoping to get some interesting ones from this to encourage me. I'm sure you old hands will appreciate how frustrating that might be when I eventually moan about not being able to post properly, ha.

I had a visit to the Dark Arches and area today (Feb 25 2014) to see if any readily visible work has started on the southern entrance to Leeds Station. I did not see anything but I thought this photo of the boats may be of interest.

This is another view of the boats. It was not until I downloaded the photos I took today (Feb 25 2014) that I noticed there seems to be a badly eroding bit below and immediately to the right of the footbridge (part of that is in view). It is more noticeable when enlarging the original photo but it is still visible in the reduced-sized photo here. It looks to me as if it could be potentially dangerous if anymore of the ground is eroded away as it could undermine the building.
