Such a record would be invaluable to future generations . Compiled on a DVD it would probably be a best-seller to those of us who are interested in Leeds as it used to be . Had such a filmed record been kept since the end of World War ll it would be of tremendous interest now .It is not too late to begin of course . May I suggest that Leeds City Council employs Phill d - surely the ideal man for the task .

Well we got beat to it lol. We can't take credit for this one.. I know the guy who found them tho. We found the same stuff, but were waiting until the Kirkstall road site comes down as well. There' a 104 years of history in that place, ruined and waiting the bulldozer. A shame really.

No it's not ours.. I'll be doing what we found and the pictures from there when the main site at Kirkstall comes down. The Hunslet site looked pretty impressive as it was yesterday. Drapsey posted some good demo pics earlier. The place looks like it's sliced in half now. It's good to capture if anyone likes to collect this stuff. I'll put my pic up I got yesterday.

It would be good if all this stuff all eventually ended up at the Central Library so they can look after it for ever more! Also, think it is unlikely that the demolition company really cares about this stuff. Why would they?
