My mum's hubby drove me onto Crown Point and we found a very Egyptian styled burial chamber shaped building right in the Industrial Estate. Clearly a relic of the 1920's. Lotus plants at the corners and that very obvious shape ... sarcophagus building shape, plus a stylised front entry. Not the oldest, but certainly the most self indulgent, surely? And typical of it's period, certainly.

There's plenty about it on this site. Try the search facility.
