Someone sent me a link to this Youtube video asking me if i'd ever found anything old on my explores. I hadn't heard of it before. But it seems there's a group of guys who go around digging up the old dumps around Leeds to find any old relics. They've found some great stuff. Brandy in particular might like this. I know he's a keen Metal detector fanhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yFaTgeLAc3w&feature=relatedI'm glad were not the only ones to be digging up parts of Leeds lol

I thought you'd like that Brandy It looks hard work, but satisfying when your digging up a bit of the past. I can imagine some of those finds are worth a good penny to the collector yes. Those guys seemed to be clued up to the places where to look.I love the old Capstan cigarette tin they find herehttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SQzC0ogXl0&feature=relatedThe amount of detail on everyday items in the old days is fascinating. We have plastic, and tat these days. You should have a go mate!

Yes mate thats the one.ps/ go get your shovel steve were off bottle digging this afty lol It was quite pretty before the transformation into a tip starting ?late 70's/early 80's. though the finished landscaped product isn't bad, doesn't have the same natural charm and stunk for years.\i have a few bits about the are - will try to knock something up - you'll be surprised I think.
