Salutory warning for those venturing underground

A very experienced caver/mine explorer was killed in Edinburgh at the weekend exploring a mine shaft a mere 30' deep:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/edi ... 3.stmThose of us with a mining background are all too familiar with the hazards of blackdamp and oxygen depletion .......... but this conditions can as equally prevail in basements, culverts and tunnels.
