Pudsey antique shop to be demolished

Post by simong »

Came across this in the T&A yesterday: http://www.thetelegraphandargus.co.uk/n ... ed/?ref=mr

It's next door to the Golden Lion on Chapeltown, hadn't really noticed it until I saw this story but it's remarkable that it has sat empty and undeveloped for so long. Here it is on Google Maps: https://goo.gl/maps/JpcWd. No doubt the site will either become a couple of new shops or some flats. Might do good for the Golden Lion, which appears to have the iron door up in that shot but is currently open.

Funnily enough I noticed another sign with an 0532 number on it just recently at the top of Old Road in Farsley. It's 20 years since the numbers were changed next April. I sense a little photo project coming on...
