Someone mentioned the Woodway on Vesper Road in Hawksworth -a mentalists pub if ever there was one! So was the Moorcock up in the Lingfields.

I thought the pub on the Lingfields(now boarded up) was called the Lingfield! Did it used to be called the Moorcock? There's a pub (still open) called the Moorcock at the Junction of Henconner lane and Pudsey Road on the edge of Bramley.

I remember that pub too stevief - but no, its not there anymore - got pulled down about 20+ years ago. - the red Lion I mean. if you mean the crooked Billet, as Rangieowner said, its still there! (and just to confuse things further the Red Lion was nearer to Leeds than the crooked billet!!!)
